The West has brought the world to the brink of total collapse, but its citizens, even its intellectuals, are stubbornly refusing to grasp the urgency. Like ostriches, many are hiding their heads in the sand. There seems to be an acute lack of rational thinking, and especially of people’s ability to grasp the proportions of global occurrences and events.
For years I have been arguing that destroying the ability to compare and to see things from the universal perspective has been one of the most successful endeavors of the Western indoctrination drive (dispersed through education, media/disinformation and ‘culture’). Lees verder →
According to the latest monthly Peace Index, published Tuesday by the Israel Democracy Institute and Tel Aviv University, 70% of Israelis prefer a right-wing government. Only 24 percent of the country prefers a left-wing or center-left government.
Fully 81 percent of Jews said they think a right-wing or center-right government is likely to be elected, compared to just 8 percent who said they see a left-wing or center-left government coming to power. Among Arab Israelis, 58 percent said they want a left-wing government, but only 10 percent predicted this would happen if elections were held in the near future. A series of polls in recent months have shown Yair Lapid, the head of the centrist Yesh Atid party, challenging Netanyahu for the premiership in snap elections.
Known to read the public mood, Lapid last week said he would try to form a national unity government if given the opportunity. Lees verder →
If Donald Trump makes the right choices, he could fundamentally alter U.S. foreign policy for the better.
Trump campaigned against America’s powerful foreign policy community… He accused them of producing “one foreign policy disaster after another,” and promised to “develop a new foreign policy direction for our country.”
This was precisely the message many voters wanted to hear, and the president-elect now has the opportunity to change how the United States deploys its power around the world.
In a 24-6 vote, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization gave preliminary approval to a resolution that denies Jewish ties to the Temple Mount and the Western Wall.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu slammed the vote stating: “The theater of the absurd continues at the UN.” “Today UNESCO adopted its second decision this year denying the Jewish people’s connection to the Temple Mount, our holiest site for more than 3,000 years,” he said. Lees verder →
Last week, communication and strategy consultant Roni Rimon attended a conference focused on fighting BDS, which was organized by Israeli ambassador to the UN Danny Danon. While there, he guided groups of students in how to oppose the phenomenon.
“We need to actively go after members of BDS,” he told Arutz Sheva, adding: “We need to fight against them and any group, university or company that boycotts Israel. We need to denounce them, expose them and shame them.” He explained that anyone who gives in to BDS should be revealed as someone who wants to destroy Jews around the world. Lees verder →
A recent speech by Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas reinforces the necessity for PA recognition to ensure genuine peace according to Itamar Marcus, the director of Palestinian Media Watch…
In a speech in Morocco, Abbas described Jewish history in Jerusalem as a “delusional myth”, declaring that Israel is attempting to create a Jewish history “by brute force.” (Official PA TV, January 17, 2014). Lees verder →
Britain’s former Chief Rabbi Jonathan Sacks has written a blistering oped slamming modern-day anti-Zionism as the “new anti-Semitism.” In his Newsweek article, published Sunday, Rabbi Sacks refers to figures showing how escalating anti-Semitism has left many Jews considering leaving Europe and noted that the phenomenon was quickly spreading to the US, specifically via university campuses. “Much of the intimidation on campus is stirred by “Israel Apartheid” weeks and the BDS (Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions) campaign against Israel. These have become what Easter was in the Middle Ages, a time for attacks against Jews,” he writes. Lees verder →
